Age Against the Machine is a festival is supported by a Cultural Impact Award made to the London Borough of Lewisham as part of the Mayor of London’s Borough of Culture programme. It’s produced by south east London’s arts centre, the Albany and participatory arts company Entelechy Arts.
Box office and data for the festival are managed by the Albany. They are registered as a Charity, and with registration number is: 1112521. The Albany is the trading name of The Deptford Fund and The Albany 2001 Company Ltd (England 4333098). The registered office is at Douglas Way, Deptford, London, SE8 4AG.
Conditions of Sale
Please examine your tickets carefully, as mistakes cannot be rectified at a later date. Exchanges are made at the management’s discretion.
Lost tickets cannot be reprinted in order to prevent fraud.
The use of cameras, video or other recording equipment is strictly prohibited.
Age restrictions apply to the venue and to some events and proof of age / ID may be required for entry.
Ticket holders may be filmed or photographed as part of the audience.

In the event that a performance is cancelled or otherwise, ticket holders may be offered alternative performances (subject to availability).
The Albany is unable to accept any liability for personal damages, losses or injuries sustained during an event – including damage and loss of property, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons.
The following items may not be brought into any festival venue: alcohol, drinks, food, bottles, cans, illegal substances, portable laser equipment and pens and any other potentially dangerous or illegal items, unauthorised film or photography equipment and audio recorders. All items will be confiscated.
You may be body searched at the entrance. Any items that may reasonably be considered a weapon may be confiscated.
Persons suspected of carrying items which may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the venue may be searched.
Gift Aid
By ticking ‘Gift Aid’ when donating to Age Against the Machine, you are confirming that you are a UK tax payer and would like us to reclaim the tax you have paid on all your donations to us in the last four years, and on any future donations you make.
You are confirming that you have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for the current tax year.
You understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify.
You understand the Albany will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that you have given.
You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying the Albany. If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax as above, you can cancel your declaration.
If you pay at the higher tax rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self-Assessment tax return.
Booking Information
Our Pricing Policy
A £1.50 booking fee is applicable per transaction for events with a ticket cost. There are no booking fees on free or Pay What-Makes-You-Happy events or when tickets are purchased in person from our box office.
Our tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangable.
We are a registered charity and any income we make is reinvested back into the work we do.
Online Booking
A £1.50 booking fee is applicable per transaction for events with a ticket cost. There are no booking fees on free or Pay What-Makes-You-Happy events or when tickets are purchased in person from our box office.

Monday to Friday, from 10am to 6pm
Saturday from 10am to 3pm
Sundays and evenings, in line with shows and events.

Booking In Person: At the Albany box office - Douglas Way, Deptford SE8 4AG. Hours as above. Credit card, cash, cheque or postal order accepted.
Tickets for Children
Tickets must be booked for any child aged 18 months or over. Where applicable ‘babes in arms’ refers to any child aged under 18 months.
Please note that tickets are required for children aged 0 to 18 months where the event is specifically for that age group.

Please note all seating is unreserved unless otherwise specified. If you have an access requirement and require a specific seating arrangement, please call box office or tell us about this via the form when booking online.
If you’re booking in a large party we cannot guarantee that we will be able seat your entire party together.
