12.30pm – 2.30pm: Kier Housing Maintenance Workshops
Become a DIY-pro with games and workshops led by the Kier team, including Building an Electric Circuit, Construction Building Game, Managing a Construction Project simulation game, and a Digital Skills workshop, where you can get tips on using email, social media and smartphones.
2pm – 3pm: Grounded Movement and Lindy Kicks Present Swing and Boogie Palace
Enjoy social dancing at the Albany Caff A, before dance troupe Lindy Kicks present dance demos, 'Sham Sham Mash' and 'Big Apple', and Grounded Movement's Temujin Gill leads a flash mob masterclass.
Founded in 2013 by Grounded Movement’s Temujin Gill, Lindy Kicks are a passionate community Lindy Hop group based in South East London. They originally grew out of regular Tuesday night classes run by Temujin Gill since 2006, now based at Depford Lounge.
